Urban Forest

A circular model for the paper industry

Bio Pappel developed a unique circular economy model called Urban Forest, an innovative system that extends the life cycle of paper through the collection, recycling, and reintegration of materials into new production processes.

Bio-ENERGY

Sustainable energy from our processes

We have co-generated 85% of the energy we consume, using steam from industrial processes to drive high-efficiency gas turbines.

Water use

Water efficiency at a global level

We recycle 88.5% of the water used in our industrial processes, enabling us to achieve one of the lowest water consumption rates per ton of paper worldwide. This achievement earned us the international recognition of the Water Efficiency Award granted by Pulp and Paper International.
